The pressure is coming from multiple directions \u2014 and the combined effect matters more than any single reform.<\/p>\n\n    <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0 0 22px;color:#1a1a1a;\">This isn&#8217;t a single policy decision with a clear before and after. For many students, the post-study work period was the economic justification for studying in Australia \u2014 the period where they could work, pay down debt, and build local experience before deciding whether to pursue permanent residence.<\/p>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0;color:#1a1a1a;\">At $4,600, that calculation is harder to make. Training plans are assessed more rigorously. The administrative burden on employers is increasing. And employer appetite for managing that burden is decreasing.<\/p>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0;color:#1a1a1a;\">A pathway that was once relatively accessible is now a more deliberate undertaking \u2014 and one that requires a well-structured case from the outset.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <!-- Section 4 -->\n    <div style=\"margin:0 0 40px;padding:28px 32px;background:#f8f5f0;border-left:4px solid #0f2540;\">\n      <div style=\"font-family:-apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,'Segoe UI',sans-serif;font-size:11px;font-weight:600;letter-spacing:1.5px;text-transform:uppercase;color:#0f2540;margin-bottom:12px;\">Reform 4<\/div>\n      <h2 style=\"font-size:22px;font-weight:400;color:#0f2540;margin:0 0 16px;font-family:Georgia,serif;line-height:1.3;\">The skills assessment pipeline is being restructured<\/h2>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#1a1a1a;\">On 13 March 2026, Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) announced a temporary pause on new registrations for OSAP and TSS assessments, running from 14 to 30 March 2026, while a new panel of Registered Training Organisations takes over assessment delivery.<\/p>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#1a1a1a;\">The pause itself is short. What it signals is not.<\/p>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0 0 14px;color:#1a1a1a;\">When the skills assessment infrastructure requires restructuring, the graduates caught mid-process carry the cost in time and uncertainty. New registrations are paused. The RTO Finder tool has been temporarily removed. Existing applications can still progress \u2014 but the system that processes new entrants is in transition.<\/p>\n      <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0;color:#1a1a1a;\">This is the part of the migration system that doesn&#8217;t make headlines. But migration agents see the impact on individual clients every week.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <!-- Bigger picture -->\n    <h2 style=\"font-size:26px;font-weight:400;color:#0f2540;margin:0 0 20px;font-family:Georgia,serif;border-bottom:2px solid #c8973a;padding-bottom:12px;\">The pattern is clear<\/h2>\n\n    <p style=\"font-size:17px;margin:0 0 22px;color:#1a1a1a;\">Taken together, what we are seeing is not a series of unrelated administrative adjustments. For the right candidate, it remains a valuable pathway.
