Under the ESOS Act and National Code, providers must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ensure that the marketing and promotion of its courses and education services is not false or misleading; and\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>include their Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registered name and registration number in all written and online materials.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered providers must not:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>provide false or misleading information in relation to course requirements when seeking to enter into a written agreement;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>commit to securing migration or education assessment outcomes for overseas students; and\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>recruit students if it conflicts with its obligations under Standard 7 (Overseas Student Transfers).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is believed that the Australian Government is preparing a stronger regulation of education agents in the upcoming ESOS Act review. Therefore providers should anticipate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mandatory agent registers linked to compliance reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased penalties for engaging with unethical or unregistered agents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stricter oversight of student transfers and visa compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greater data-sharing between PRISMS, ASQA, and Home Affairs to track agent behaviour.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet these new expectations, providers need more than just policies, they need systems that monitor, document, and enforce compliance across their recruitment networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is where Educli\u2019s Agent Management feature becomes essential.
