This seems to be becoming a regular trend for the current management of Australia \u2014 major shifts in immigration policies are now frequently being introduced with little to no public information.<\/p>\n<p>Key changes are set to take effect on 7 December 2024, including adjustments to the Core Skills List (CSOL), the Skills in Demand (SID) list, and the introduction of the National Innovation Visa (NIV).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recent Announcement from the Department:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of 7 December 2024, the CSOL will apply to the Core Skills stream of the new Skills in Demand visa, which will replace the Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) visa.
