Qualification and Work Experience
Bachelor Degree or higher, related to your occupation, PLUS
1 year of work experience in the occupation
To pass a skills assessment as an Actuary, you must have the following at a minimum:
Document Checklist
Passport
Qualification + translation
Transcript + translation
ID style photograph – eg, go to a pharmacy
Evidence of change of name (if applicable)
Professional registration or membership– if any
Employer Reference – for each of your roles after completing your studies in 2016
Employment Evidence (You must provide documents from at least 2 of the categories below, for each year of employment)
Employment Reference Letter (Please provide a draft before sending to your company for signature)
Updated Resume (I encourage you to use the following website to update your resume. You can select your occupation and it will provide examples of key duties you may have performed in your role.)
Please return all draft references to me for review prior to signature Please provide payment evidence for each year of employment.
Employment Evidence
Payslips for each period of employment – at least one payslip per every 03 months. Also include your first and your last payslip.
Taxation Records - identifying employer and employee name
Banking statement identifying payment from your employer
Superannuation/social security records - identifying both employer and yourself
You must provide documents from at least 2 of the categories below, for each year of employment
Employment Reference Letter
Printed on company letterhead
Listing exact dates of employment DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY
Listing hours per week
Listing salary
If full time/part time/casual
Description of the tasks and duties performed – aligned with the occupation description
Signed and dated by the author, listing full name, phone, email, address, website
Please provide a draft before sending to your company for signature
