(English Courses) Workshops (only for students that do NOT need a visa)

Workshops
These are 45-minute sessions each day (Monday to Friday) where you can practise either grammar, speaking, writing or exam preparation. These are excellent add-ons to the General English course and will help you to overcome any weaknesses you may have. The workshops can also be taken separately as a GE5 course.

Listening & Speaking
If you feel your speaking is perhaps not as good as it could be, sign up for a Listening & Speaking Workshop and improve your communicative skills and build up your confidence when using English.

Reading & Writing
Reading: if you feel that your reading knowledge is not quite as good as it could be or you need more practice this is the course for you. This workshop focuses on structuring your language in the correct
way.
Writing: this is particularly useful for those students who need to communicate a lot in writing e.g. at university, at work or socially.

IELTS Exam Preparation
This workshop is designed to help you prepare for the IELTS Exam. Whilst the main IELTS courses contain a lot of examination practice, this workshop provides more intensive practice in the specific skills you will need.

Cambridge Exam Preparation
